12 Tips To Enjoy Old Age

 


Old age,
the beginning of the new phase of life!!! Don't think that old age is meant to be boring. One can not stop being happy while getting old. Below are the tips to enjoy old age. In today's situation of Pandemic, follow these tips online while staying safe at home. :)

1. Get musical

Music has numerous benefits on mind and health. Sing, listen, or watch musical events.  Try singing on apps like Starmaker or Smule. Don't be shy to share it with your friends :) In totality, stay connected with music on daily basis.


2. Journal your thoughts

Journaling your thoughts is one of the best things to do in life. Avail this time to put your experiences or lessons into words. Or record audios instead, if writing is difficult for you. Either share it with people as articles, audios, or books. Or simply write it for self-happiness.


3. Join a speaking group

In life, you have many thoughts that you miss sharing with others. Find an (online) group, for example, a speakers club, where you get a chance to speak. This gives you chance to express your feelings and thoughts, learn to speak and connect with people.  


4. Laugh

Laughter is important for physical and mental health. Join a laughter group, watch comedy shows or movies. Laugh like nobody is watching you.πŸ˜„πŸ˜„


5. Learning technology a bitπŸ“±

It's difficult to learn new technology in old age, but if you learn a little bit of it every day, you will learn a lot of things. For example useful apps and mobile functionalities.


6. Get Nostalgic

Watch tv serials or movies that you use to watch in your childhood. Have food that you use to have with your mamma. Visit your home town or get some pictures of your hometown from your friends. Recollect the old memories; every movie, every bite, and every picture holds a memory with it. Cherish it! 


7. Spend time with friends

Apart from the family, you must have fun times with friends. Spend time with your friends and be interested to make new friends. Participate in the events with them. For now, you can plan online events with your friends.


8. Serving humanity

Did you want to help people at your young age but could not? Why not do it at this stage of life. It's never too late. πŸ‘πŸ‘ You can help people online while staying home. 


9. Have flexible opinions

This one is really important and helpful. People and things do not go our way. Be ok with it. You don't want to waste your time and energy with conflicts and negative discussions. 10. Have low Expectations from others

Many people travel through travel agencies. It's a good option to travel hassle-free, especially in old age. In today's time, it is safe to stay home. For now, enjoy watching some travel vlogs. They are good! I too like to watch them. :)


12. Be ok with Living Alone: If you are living all alone, without your spouse, don't think life is not good anymore or that you cannot be happy alone. Feel grateful to meet your life partner and to have a family with them. Cherish the past and now explore enjoying life ahead alone!
