If everyone has their own difficulty, then can we choose to be compassionate towards others? Let us understand that and have compassion, understanding, care and respect for each other.

How being compassionate is beneficial in daily life?
Among friends, colleagues or relatives it is very common to find someone's behavior strange or weird. Someone may unexpectedly be rude, loud, arrogant, get hurt or may ignore you.  Sometimes it could be a close one too.

Everyone's journey of life is unique with its own unique experiences. You may not know in which conditions and the environment others are brought up, what kind of painful experiences they have been through in their life. Their journey of life have influenced and shaped them in a unique way with their own strengths and weaknesses, because of which sometimes they act in an odd way, which we find weird, but they find it suitable for them self.

A person who lacks empathy will keep wondering, get angry, get hurt or feel anxious about their behavior, but a compassionate person is aware and therefore can understand that this person might have experienced something difficult in the past, is going through some personal problem right now, have its own weakness or have a specific reason behind their strange behavior.

Therefore, a compassionate person can take a weird behavior lightly, remains calm and does not gets affected with other's behavior.

If you can develop this skill in which other's behavior does not affect you, your happiness and your peace then you have won yourself and you have become a stronger person.

Therefore, learning being compassionate is learning being happy.

Being compassionate does not mean to tolerate anyone's rude or arrogant behavior. One should protect self from negative people and should stay away from them. It only means to not get affected by someone's behavior, take it in a lighter vein and to remain calm by being aware of the probable reasons behind an unexpected behavior. And doing this is ultimately is good for you and your happiness. The best thing one can do is remain compassionate, understand people, do not waste the time in an argument and focus on things that really matter in life.
